In 1989 Sherry and Mike bought Holiday Smog and Muffler, and they have been serving the Santa Cruz area as a family-owned business ever since! The shop was originally located on Front Street and moved to Capitola Road in 1996. Locals instantly recognize their iconic Volkswagen bus, the fabulous yellow 1980 Chevy pickup truck, and Mark’s dragster. It’s impossible to visit their business without sensing their passion for cars, and your car will receive the same loving care they bestow on their own!
As of May 2021, business now owned by Mike’s Son Mark and his daughter Katie.
